Funeral Services Planning Guide Click the above link for the PDF Document Once you have all the planning done you can click here to enter it in our interactive form, or you can fill out at home and bring it into the office. Becoming Catholic The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a conversational environment where people who are exploring Catholic Christianity get to know more about the basic message of Christ and the mission of his Church. This is an accessible and welcoming way to take a look at the bigger picture about God, Jesus, the Bible, the Christian story, and the Catholic Church. We meet on Sunday afternoons in a comfortable setting on the Church grounds beginning in the Fall and ending at Easter. If you’re new to Christianity or the Catholic Church, RCIA is for you. RCIA will begin in September 2016 and run through Palm Sunday, April 9th, 2017 It will be held in the Fr. Pat conference room at Holy Spirit. Confession All of us have sinned and fallen short. Jesus never tires of forgiving us when we humbly come to him in Confession. When we confess our sins out loud, to a priest, we can begin to break free from the guilt, shame, and secrecy that binds us. Confession allows us to restore our relationship with God and receive his power to start again. Every Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at Resurrection; 2:45 p.m.-3:45 p.m. at Holy Spirit. Baptism Our parishes are excited to celebrate your child's Baptism! We are happy to try and accommodate your choice of time and date. To get the process started, please contact one of our priests by calling Holy Spirit parish at 906-863-5239 or Resurrection parish at 906-863- 3405. They will set up a time to meet with you and the godparents of your child (if available) for baptismal Preparation. Weddings Congratulations on your engagement! You are in one of the most exciting (and hectic) seasons of your life. Beyond the wedding day there is married life. Let us help you get ready. Our marriage preparation program connects you with other engaged couples and married couples to take a closer look at married life: communication, intimacy, children, finances, and faith. To get the marriage preparation process started, please call one of our priests at least 6 months before the proposed date for your wedding, and they will help you start this awesome adventure. Anointing of the Sick The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is offered anytime someone needs special support and strength when facing a dangerous health challenge. If you would like to be anointed, please contact our priests at 906-863-5239 and we will try to accommodate your request as soon as possible. Pastoral Visitors Our Pastoral Visitors are available to visit homebound parishioners, as well as those who have transitioned to assisted living or hospice care in the Menominee and Marinette area. Pastoral Visitors bring comfort and encouragement, Christian fellowship, and prayerful support. If you choose, they can also bring Holy Communion. Leave a message for Deacon Steve Gretzinger at 906-863-5239 or Deacon Vince Beckley at 906-863-3405. Hospital Visits A stay in the hospital can be a frightening and lonely ordeal. We would like to support and encourage you during that difficult time. Our Pastoral Visitors and priests are ready to visit with you or your loved one, pray together, and bring Holy Communion. Our Pastoral Visitors can also arrange for an Anointing of the Sick. Contact us at 906-863-5239 to arrange a hospital visit.
